Jewish-American all-day Bistro
Jack’s Wife Freda
New York Restaurant
allergyout – October 21, 2017
Jack’s Wife Freda is a Jewish-American eatery famous for its amazing brunches. There are lots of new and tasty food substitutes to try as bacon is off the menu.
Jack Wife’s Freda doesn’t use nuts in the kitchen. Although, they do use almond milk. They are perfect for those with a nut allergy. The only thing that lets them down is that they don’t have any gluten-free options.
We ate a really tasty meal at Jack’s Wife Freda with no problems at all! Ollie had a Madame Freda. The Madame Freda is a pressed sandwich with duck-prosciutto, two different types of cheeses and a sunny-side-up egg. He also had a side of fries which were nut free. A lot of items are fried in peanut oil in America so always check this.
I choose the Mediterranean breakfast and the lemonade and it was all brilliant. Jack’s Wife Freda is an institution in New York and if you try it out you’ll definitely want to come back for more.
Not that bad
